Pair Arrested Weeks After Group Surrounds Vehicle, Fires Shots In Arlington: Cops

Two arrests have been made in a shooting that happened earlier this month in Arlington, police said.

Elijah Broadus, 21, and  Isaiah Grady, 18, were charged for their roles in a shooting in which at least one person in a group of six fired at a vehicle leaving a parking lot on S. Kenmore Street and 23rd Street S., on Dec. 2, Arlington County police said.

Broadus was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle, discharge of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and wearing a mask to conceal identity, police said.

Grady was arrested the same day and charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharge of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school.

Both men were being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Facility.
